Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) are a legal requirement when selling or renting any building, with some small exceptions.
An EPC can only be generated by a qualified energy assessor and CarbonPlan has a dedicated team of these for both residential and commercial buildings.
Beyond the above there are other drivers which may mean that an EPC is required including:
- Compliance for Part L of the Building Regulations
- Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)
- Renewable generation incentives
- Energy Company Obligation compliance
Our team have worked on the appraisals of over 2,500 existing non-domestic buildings and 10,000 residential units. Projects range from single units to portfolio assessments for the new build and existing industries.
