What is the Marco2 Programme?
Marco2 is a four-step programme offered by CarbonPlan, supported by trained specialist consultants, that enables businesses to measure, manage and improve their effect on the environment.Step 1: Understand
CarbonPlan provides access to a qualified consultant who will conduct an in-depth telephone call with the client. This serves to ensure that the client is aware of the full process and to identify any problem issues that may arise in capturing and analysing the data.
Step 2: Measure
Data for the accounting period and department being analysed are captured using a pre-formatted spreadsheet which is then sent to CarbonPlan for analysis.
Step 3: Analyse
Using the Marco2 calculation engine, the data are processed and the resultant report will show both the direct and indirect carbon impacts of the business, ranked by impact.
Step 4: Report
The consultant will then report back to the client to discuss the results of the analysis and give recommendations.
